I know that some of you don't understand
Alcohol to keep from running out

I've seen the bottle and the damage done
A little part of it in everyone
But every drunk is like a setting' sun

I knew it was coming

I saw it, I felt it, I lived it and I caused it

I didn’t start out this way in my youth

I always looked for the positive

In every situation

Starting over is never easy

In anyone’s life

But I am there now

And I just have to accept

What I’ve done to myself

And everyone around me

It was not my intention

To harm anyone in any way

But I have done that

And I have to live with that…..

For the rest of my life……..
